## welcome to idiot central ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ

- you are seeing this on a server proudly running [copyparty](https://github.com/9001/copyparty)
- you can look at [images](./images/), [gifs](./gif/), or [videos](./video/)
- **email me at** [laiska-memes(at)posteo.jp](mailto:laiska-memes@posteo.jp) **to add your memes!** ...or if something's wrong (￢_￢;)
- **WARNING:** repeatedly getting `4XX` errors will ip ban you for 24 hours!
- a little technical info:
  - all videos are encoded in av1 (good support everywhere)
    - used to not be the case, but with the recent switch to using docker images for my services i have discovered that [h265 is the root of all evil](https://github.com/9001/copyparty/blob/hovudstraum/docs/bad-codecs.md#why-hevc-is-not-included). av1 is better anyway...
  - all images and gifs are formatted in avif (good support in browsers, bad support in software)
    - converting to avif is slow as heck... but afterwards displaying it is really fast! time is a price paid by me, at export - you'll never have to pay it yourself (￣▽￣)
    - also wasn't the case a bit ago, good lord avif is so much lighter than gif it's absolutely mental

### enjoy your stay!
